Afterschool Club ~ All 7th and 8th Grade Writers Welcome!

Please use this link to register your student for the Publishing Collective (the afterschool Writer/Publisher Club).

Information from the facilitator, Melissa:  

"The da Vinci Dragons Publishing Collective is open for new members! This student-led club is open to all 7th and 8th graders who are enrolled in creative writing or who took it last year. The Collective meets on Thursdays from 4:00-5:00 in Ms. Conner's classroom (Room 204) and is facilitated by da Vinci parent, author, and teaching artist Melissa Duclos. The Publishing Collective works on projects that will benefit student writers beyond the da Vinci community. Last year, students decided to work in one group to plan, promote, moderate, and tech a public panel conversation featuring five local authors answering students’ questions about writing and publishing. This year, students may elect to work individually, in small groups, or again as a whole on their project.

Students can drop in to club meetings in September without registering. All members must be registered by a parent/guardian by Oct 1.
